Pop In To Us For A Breather On #CultureNight.

Making plans for Culture Night? No!  Well you should be. It’s one of the most exciting dates on the calendar as communities and creative hubs across the city throw open their doors and invite the public inside for an intimate look at their year round work.

The Sanctuary is rooted in the heart of Dublin 7 and provides a treasured space for people to escape the clamor through workshops and courses that centre the self and nourish the body.

When we opened our doors in 1998, we could never have imagined the world we live in today. The constant pressure to be connected and the invasion of our quiet time by technology. The pressures of modern life with its commutes and struggle to make ends meet.

At the Sanctuary we hold out for a more compassionate version of ourselves and a kinder way of going on with each other. We work towards this through meditation and mindfulness. By taking some time out.

There’ll be plenty of rushing around on Culture Night. So, drop down to us for a breather and light refreshments.  Anytime from 5- 9pm.  We’ll be running a guided meditation on the hour. Who knows, you just might develop a taste for it.

The madness will still be waiting outside when you’re done.

On The Hour: Mindful Meditations led by a Sanctuary Facilitator
 
6:30pm: A free introductory yoga session
7:30pm A taster on mindfully eating with Orla Burchael & Shirley Roe ahead of their course starting.
