    This is an 8 week course (2.5 hours per week) with one full day (10am-4pm) between weeks 6 and 7.     Based on an exploration and experience of The Power of Now, the bestselling book by Eckhart Tolle

This workshop includes powerful, effective practices for inner peace and change with guided meditations group discussions and, of course, silence. Authentic human power is found by surrendering to the Now – it is here we find our joy, are able to embrace our true selves and discover that we are already complete and perfect. This workshop is based on an exploration and experience of The Power of Now, the bestselling book by Eckhart Tolle – a wonderful guide on the path to spiritual enlightenment.

    Beginning on Monday, February 12th from 6.30 to 8.30 pm for 5 weeks.

    Mindfulness encourages us to deeply listen to ourselves and develop insight and wisdom and compassion opens our hearts so that we can lean towards our challenges and difficulties with kindness. Compassion fundamentally begins with ourselves and when we feel ready the journey can ripple out in ever-widening circles.   • Teach .b With The Mindfulness In Schools Project.

    The Sanctuary is pleased to offer the Teach .b course. The training will consist of real-time lessons, an exploration of the pedagogy of the .b curriculum, and opportunities to practise teaching the key exercises, in order to leave feeling confident and empowered to teach the curriculum to young people.

  • Mindfulness for Teachers: .b Foundations With Dominic Cogan


    Starting on Tuesday 20th February, from 7 – 9pm.

     

    With Dominic Cogan, this is an 8-week programme delivered by a trained Mindfulness for Teachers: .b Foundations teacher. It is designed for teachers, staff, and parents who want to develop their own mindfulness practice and enhance their own wellbeing. However it would also enable participants who develop a practice to qualify for further training in order to teach .b or Paws .b to young people. This course will finish on the 24th April as there will be no classes on the 20th March or the 3rd April.

    With Riana Walsh, this Friday morning yoga course introduces participants to breath awareness practices and the experience of stillness; Yoga postures and sequences are practiced with awareness as we connect mind, body and heart in the present moment; Mindful meditation focuses on breath, sound, thought, sensation and relaxation is also an integral part of the class. Each class is an hour and a half in duration.

    Starting on Wednesday February 21st from 2.30 – 5pm.

    Join Mary Jennings for a mix of course practice, input, group discussion and home practice, participants report that they were able to recognise and learn how to deal with their own stress triggers more easily as well as find a greater sense of their own inner strength and resilience.

    This is an 8 week course (2.5 hours per week) with one full day (10am-4pm) on 8th April. Please bring lunch for the full day of practice. Please note the final week on this course will be on 18th April as there will not be a class on the 11th April.
