Resilience is our ability to successfully cope with adversity in the face of challenge. During the workshop we will explore building an emotional toolbox , looking at resilient thinking in action, nurturing our resources, the value of staying connected and learning how to deal with these challenges more effectively. We will place strong emphasis on the mindful qualities of self-care and self-compassion.  This course runs for six weeks.

During the workshop we will explore building an emotional toolbox , looking at resilient thinking in action, nurturing our resources, the value of staying connected and learning how to deal with these challenges more effectively. We will place strong emphasis on the mindful qualities of self-care and self-compassion. Handouts will be provided including “Ten tips to build Resilience and Wellbeing”

By the end of the six weeks, participants will be able to:

  • Understand what resilience is, where it comes from and how to build and develop your own.
  • Look at self-limiting beliefs and how they can undermine your own natural resilience.
  • Examine your own value-system and what is of real importance to you your own life.
  •  Reduce your risk of stress, exhaustion and burn-out by embracing the key principles of physical resilience, self-care and self-compassion.
  • Understand the crucial importance of strong relationships and how to significantly improve them.
  • Adapt to uncertain times, change or transition by thinking more positively and flexibly. Face the future with optimism, secure in the knowledge that you have all the resources you need to survive, and even thrive, in challenging times.
