With Teresa Larkin, a 6-week day course to learn how to mindfully manage change and transition.  This course is for beginners and those experienced in the practice of mindfulness, and for those who want to look anew at the challenges presented by change and transition.

By exploring the nature of change, we learn the difference between blaming and taking responsibility. We become aware of the role of self-judgement and self-criticism and how important it is to cultivate kindness, praise and gratitude.

By using mindful principles and techniques we learn to view thoughts as “mental events”, and learn to cope with difficult thoughts and emotions.

Time will be given to looking at the use of the “Mindful Pause” and explain its application to our daily life.

By coming to a deeper understanding of the nature of change as an inevitable part of all of our journeys through life, we learn that this process can be harnessed to work for you rather than against you.

Teresa Larkin

Teresa Larkin is a graduate of Mater Dei and U.C.D. She has over 30years experience as a secondary school teacher. Teresa has a lifelong commitment and involvement in meditation and mindfulness programmes. For the last twenty years she has facilitated retreats for adults and young people. This includes five years facilitating the Jigsaw Programme in the Sanctuary.
