Mindfulness Half Day for Beginners February 2019
Workshop description: Throughout the year these half-days provide an opportunity to nurture and strengthen the energy of mindfulness and the practice of meditation in the company of others through sitting and walking meditation. As mindful eating, a core mindfulness practice, is an integral part of the day, please bring a snack.
Who this is for: This Mindfulness half day has been specifically designed to introduce beginners to the concept and practise of mindfulness and meditation. If you are more advanced you should try our Mindfulness Day for Experienced Practitioners.
About the facilitator: The Mindfulness Half Day facilitators rotate from session to session, allowing for diversity and inclusivity. All facilitators are trained in mindfulness and meditation and give workshops at the Sanctuary on a regular basis.

As we come to mindfulness, it is really important to create the space and the time to not only develop but to sustain a practice. These Mindfulness Half Days provide the opportunity to come together in community, as a means of support for the practice.
