Being Present: Indepth Mindfulness Training

Prerequisite for Teaching Skills. Eight days over four weekends.

Indepth Mindfulness training is starting back on June 9th

This is a four-weekend training programme that can act alone as a means of developing or deepening a mindfulness practice, or it can lead onto our MBLC Teacher Training pathway!

Spread out over a nine month period, the prgramme aims to enable participants to establish an effective and regular daily mindfulness practice so as to help our minds to settle and stabilise.

One of the distinctive qualities of this training is the kindness and compassion practices that are weaved throughout.

It is ideal for beginners; however, it is also for those who have previous experience of mindfulness and who want to develop their practice and for those who might go on to train to teach mindfulness.

Due to the Continuing restrictions we feel that we will not be able to go ahead with the first weekend on campus in the Sanctuary. Therefore we have decided to split the first weekend  over 8 weeks online. The course will now run on Tuesday evenings (once every two weeks) from 7.00pm-9.00pm starting on Tuesday 9th June 2020.

This will take us up to August where we will hopefully be able to meet in the Sanctuary grounds for weekend two on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of August. This is of course dependent on the situation at the time and if we need to continue online then we will.

Please note that we will also make provisions for anyone who cannot attend The Sanctuary campus to continue online with the course.

4 Tuesdays starting from 9th June 2020 Online
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

These sessions happen every two weeks: June 9th/June 23rd/ July 7th/ July 21st

Saturday 8th – Sunday 9th August 2020
10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday 26th – Sunday 27th September 2020
10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday 21st – Sunday 22nd November 2020
10:00 am – 5:00 pm
