Course Description: Our culture typically views the aging process as one of slowly declining health and reduction in mental capacity. In contrast, traditional cultures emphasise a growth in insight and experience and have always accorded increased respect as people age. This four-week course, while gently acknowledging the challenges of growing old, will also create a space for the celebration of conscious aging such as: increased wisdom, the growth of resilience and greater appreciation of life’s lessons.
Each session will be a blend of inputs from the facilitator, large and small group discussion as well as a few short writing exercises that promote reflection. There will be a ten-minute tea break in the middle of each session.
4-week Online course
