Course Description: This three week course, with the wonderful Orla Burchael, provides a taste of mindfulness and offers participants the chance to dip their toe in the practices of breath meditation, meditating on the senses, body scan, walking meditation, and eating meditation. The new year can be a wonderful time to come home to ourselves and learn the practices of mindfulness. .However, as we set goals it is important to become aware of self judgment and perfectionism that can loom large.. Instead we can bring the powerful practice of mindfulness to ourselves and to our lives. Our attitude towards ourselves can become one of kindness, self care and nurturance.
