The next 6-week course starts on Friday 10th September 2021
In this Friday morning yoga course, participants are introduced to breath awareness practices, yoga postures and sequences connecting mind, body and heart in the present moment. Our mindful meditation focuses on sensation, breath, sound, thoughts. Combined, these practices lead us towards connecting with our own innate resources to access a sense of ease and spaciousness as we engage with everyday life. The yoga Sutra: ‘Yoga chitta vritti nirodah’ – ‘yoga is the settling of the mind into silence’ is central and yoga philosophy and mindfulness themes are integrated throughout. Relaxation is an integral part of the class.
Everybody is welcome to this class, with or without prior experience of yoga and meditation. Each class is an hour and fifteen minutes in duration.
For whom:This workshop is open to anyone, and no specific life-style or prior knowledge is required.
Dates and times: This course will run on 6 Friday mornings 10, 17, and 24 September, 1, 8 and 15 October 10-11.15am on zoom.
