Join Niamh Bruce for this very special Mindfulness workshop.

This workshop is a coming together with an openness and a curiosity to watch how the torchlight of attention can play. Bringing a gentleness and a playfulness to our practice. Even an embracing of ‘the wandering mind’ and inviting perhaps a new perspective.

About The Facilitator


  • Niamh Former Executive Director and Director of Programmes for the Sanctuary (A non-profit meditation centre in Smithfield area www.sanctuary.ie) for over 10 years. 
  • Niamh now continues to work for the Sanctuary and others on a freelance and consultancy basis.
  • A mindfulness facilitator in several forms, Niamh has also developed several programmes, including the Warrior Programme with the Sanctuary, and M2M training for the National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI).
  • Niamh is also an Associate trainer for the Mindfulness in Schools Programme (MiSP) and the .b (dotb) programme for 11-17 year olds and is the voice on their animations used both here, the UK and America and teacher trainer for the primary curriculum paws b for 7 to 11 years and trained in the new MiSP ‘dots’ programme 3 to 7 years of age.   • Niamh also trained with the Oxford Centre of Mindfulness in the Finding Peace in a Frantic World course.
  • Niamh also has worked with several organisations in terms of integrating mindfulness into the organisation and as a valued option for developing wellbeing. Works with organisations like the IASW for many years on CPD and resilience building for Social Workers.
  • Additional information: Trained in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) with the Institute of Mindfulness Based Approaches (IMA) Trained with Mark Williams on the MBCT module. Have been teaching since 2012.
  • Currently completing an MSc in Cyber Psychology, Niamh has always had a particular interest in a Mindful Approach to technology. Focusing on community online and communication online and a sense of belonging.
  • Presented at several National Conferences on Mindfulness, written articles, published book and CDs on the area. Above all has a daily practice and a passion for mindfulness and also for the sharing and learning from others, in the challenge and nourishment of integrating mindfulness into our lives.
