  • The Art of Compassion, March 2019

    Compassion can be defined quite simply as the ability to recognize, move towards and be with suffering, with an intention to relieve it. Compassion is an action. It has the potential to empower.

    Compassion can not only be learned, but it can cultivated through practice and training. This 5 week course is an introduction into the practice of training in compassion.

    Who this is for:  The course is ideal for those with some training in mindfulness; however, all are welcome.

  • Unmasking the inner critic with Teresa Larkin

    This course explores how we might develop an insight into how our mind’s work and why we feel what we feel. How might we move towards cultivating a compassionate way of relating to our own “Inner Critic”?

    Wednesday Evening Drop in Meditations 2019

    Our Wednesday evening drop in meditations run most Wednesdays of the year and take place from 7.30pm – 8.45pm.

    As well as a guided meditation, these drop in sessions include elements of mindful sharing and mindful walking in and around the Sanctuary garden.

    There is a suggested donation of €5 for attending each session.

    The Sanctuary is pleased to offer the Teach .b course. The training will consist of real-time lessons, an exploration of the pedagogy of the .b curriculum, and opportunities to practise teaching the key exercises, in order to leave feeling confident and empowered to teach the curriculum to young people.

    This course takes place over four days across two weekends during March at the Sanctuary in Dublin 7.

    The course takes place from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, March 2nd & 3rd and 9th & 10th
