Managing Change Mindfully Feb 2019
We are living in the midst of change. Change is inevitable and unavoidable. The question is whether the process of change can be harnessed to work for you rather than against you? This course will provide the insights needed to manage change and uncertainty with mindfulness, kindness and compassion.
Join Teresa Larkin on this 6-week course at the Sanctuary, Stanhope St, Dublin 7, starting Thursday 28th February. Classes take place each Thursday from 10am to 12pm until April 4th and the course costs €110
*Understanding the nature of change
*Exploring underlying attitudes + beliefs around change.
*Discerning the role fear can play in our response to change+uncertainty.
*Developing the “Change Muscle” the inner strengths needed to embrace change and transition.
*Looking at the possibilities of growth + freedom from stress and anxiety around change.
* Learning the importance of kindness+ compassion when dealing with change + uncertainty.
Mindfulness can improve our capacity to respond to change in a healthy way. Within this course there will be ample time for insight, guidance, poetry, music + reflection. There will be an opportunity for mindful journaling- to write+ process your feelings around change.

Your facilitator: Teresa Larkin
Teresa Larkin is a graduate of Mater Dei and U.C.D. She has over 30years experience as a secondary school teacher. Teresa has a lifelong commitment and involvement in meditation and mindfulness programmes. For the last twenty years she has facilitated retreats for adults and young people. This includes five years facilitating the Jigsaw Programme in the Sanctuary.
