Traditional Yang-style Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient form of exercise very suitable to the 21st century. In Tai Chi we explore the avenues and thresholds of our individual body, mind and spirit through a regime of simple structured exercises.
It can be practiced by people of all ages, regardless of their lifestyle or their health. And most importantly it is fun!

Declan Mills is from Dublin, where his first encounter with Tai Chi was firstly through Liam Murray and subsequently with Terry Christie in the late 1990’s. He joined the Master Ding Academy in 2011 looking to deepen his experience of movement and meditation. It quickly fulfilled everything he had been looking for and within a short time he was coming to several classes per week, one day and weekend workshops and going to Master Ding’s workshops and residential retreats until he became a Master Ding Academy Instructor in fairly short order. He continues to train just as intensely and also goes to workshops, training weekends and retreats organised by Master Ding.
Declan holds an MA in Theatre Studies from Mountview Academy (London) and the University of East Anglia. Certified Instructor Master Ding Academy (London) Traditional Yang- Style Tai Chi Chuan. Certified by Irish Martial Arts Commission (IMAC).
