This three-week onsite course in the Sanctuary, previously taught by Sr. Stan, is an ideal introduction for anyone who is new to meditation or looking to reconnect with a sense of inner calm. Designed as a gentle and supportive journey inward, the course offers a welcoming space to explore the foundations of mindfulness and meditation in a practical and accessible way.

Throughout the three weeks, participants will be invited to slow down, step away from the busyness of daily life, and cultivate a deeper awareness of the present moment. Each session will provide guidance on how to turn inward and develop the ability to become your own source of stillness, even amidst the demands and distractions of modern living.

A variety of simple yet effective practices will be introduced, allowing participants to gradually build a personal “mindful toolbox.” These practices may include breath awareness, body scanning, and techniques for grounding and relaxation. With regular practice, these tools can help reduce stress, improve focus, and support emotional balance.

Each week will focus on a different aspect of mindfulness, encouraging participants to deepen their understanding and experience over time. There will also be space for reflection and gentle discussion, helping to integrate these practices into everyday life.

By the end of the course, participants can expect to feel more connected to a sense of inner peace and clarity. The intention is not only to learn meditation techniques, but to foster a lasting relationship with stillness—one that can be carried forward long after the course has ended.
