At The Sanctuary, we believe in creating meaningful experiences for young people that support their emotional development, self-awareness, and sense of connection. Through dedicated programmes, awareness days, and special events, we provide opportunities for mindfulness and personal growth tailored to younger audiences and those who support them.

Youth Programmes

Mindfulness Awareness Days

Our Awareness Days offer a powerful introduction to mindfulness for school classes and youth groups. These sessions help young people understand how meditation and self-awareness can support them through the challenges of growing up. All sessions are delivered by a panel of experienced, fully trained facilitators.

Secondary School Awareness Days

Duration: 10am – 2pm
Cost: €400–€600 (based on group size)
Suitable for: 20–30 students

Primary School
Awareness Days

Shorter in duration and tailored to suit the specific age group

Youth Programmes

The Mindful Warrior Programme

Created by Brother Richard Hendrick and Niamh Bruce, the Mindful Warrior Programme draws on storytelling, movement, mindfulness, and wisdom traditions to support young people on their path to adulthood.

This experiential programme is designed for students from 6th class to 2nd year, especially those who benefit from a non-traditional, holistic approach to personal development. It includes:

Mindfulness and movement practices

Reflective emotional exercises

Cultural and artistic expression

A framework of initiation rooted in adolescent development

Youth Conference 2025

Our Awareness Days offer a powerful introduction to mindfulness for school classes and youth groups. These sessions help young people understand how meditation and self-awareness can support them through the challenges of growing up. All sessions are delivered by a panel of experienced, fully trained facilitators.

After summer 2025, The Sanctuary will launch a Junior Neurodiversity Programme focused on emotional regulation. More details will be announced soon.
