A sacred space for reflection, connection, and harmony with nature.
Step Into a Journey of Reflection
The word labyrinth comes from the Greek labyrinthos, first recorded in Greek mythology around 800 BC. Labyrinths have been used for centuries as spiritual pathways, embraced in Medieval times and beyond as a space for prayer, meditation, and personal insight.
Today, there are over 6,000 labyrinths worldwide, each offering a unique journey of self-discovery. Walking a labyrinth invites you to release worries, embrace stillness, and open yourself to new inspiration.
Our labyrinth, created in 2020, follows a classical design inspired by the Labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France. Unlike traditional labyrinths where you retrace your steps, this one moves through three interwoven circles, guiding you through a gentle rhythm of movement and reflection.
Before stepping in, take a moment to set an intention—a question, a reflection, or a simple openness to what may arise.
Follow the winding path, allowing your breath and steps to guide you.
Each turn offers a new perspective, a space for insight, stillness, and beauty in an otherwise busy world.
Biodiversity refers to the variety of all living organisms and ecosystems that make up our natural world. At The Sanctuary, our Biodiversity Garden is a vibrant, living space that nurtures wildlife, supports ecological balance, and provides a peaceful setting for reflection and well-being.
Biodiversity is essential for the health of our planet and our communities. It:
Supports life by providing food, shelter, and stability for plants, animals, and insects.
Maintains ecological balance, creating resilience in natural systems.
Enhances well-being, improving physical, mental, and emotional health by offering a space of connection with nature.
Whether walking the labyrinth or spending time in the Biodiversity Garden, these spaces are here for you to pause, reflect, and find harmony with nature.
Visit us at The Sanctuary to explore these sacred spaces for yourself.
