In a world that often teaches us to be strong and tough it is important to remind ourselves that softness and self-compassion are also tools that can allow us to become more resilient. This meditation allows time to slow down, connect with our inner world, and encourages us to be soft, even if only for a few moments. This meditation will be guided through gratitude, self-compassion and awareness of the breath. Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard.
