
Mindfulness and Compassion Based Professional Practice with TU Dublin (10 ECTs)
When working in a caring capacity, the ability to maintain a compassionate presence has the potential to enhance workplace interactions and relationships with students, clients, service users and patients. Compassionate presence can also create the potential for better job satisfaction, work life balance and deeper connection with those we work with.
Through an experiential approach and a critical examination of the theory and research around mindfulness and compassion, participants will develop an understanding of the application of mindfulness and compassion within their own workplace context.

Who is this for?
Professionals who would like to develop and integrate compassion based mindfulness into their professional setting, for example health care, education, youth work, rehabilitation, community and social services. Those professionals working in a frontline capacity.
Prerequisite/Entry Requirements
The applicants should have an academic achievement at level 7 of the national framework of qualifications (NFQ) or can provide evidence of achievement at that level through prior and experiential learning.
