Chakras are energy centres within the body. The term "chakra" comes from the Sanskrit word for "wheel" or "disk," symbolizing spinning energy points that influence physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. These chakras are thought to affect both the body and mind. Yoga, meditation, sound healing and specific breathing exercises are used to help balance the chakras and promote overall well-being. When the energy flows freely through the chakras, it's believed that the person experiences physical health and emotional harmony, conversely when the chakras are blocked or out of balance, physical and mental disorders can arise.
In this workshop we will be working on the 7 most important chakras, we will begin with some chanting and pranayama breathing exercises ( kapalbhati and bhastrika) then continue with various dynamic poses while doing pranayama breathwork ( breath of fire ) increasing our metabolism and balancing and opening the chakras, in the second part of the workshop, participants will relax in savasana and integrate the sounds and frequencies of Tibetan bells into their meditation, helping to harmonise and bring a feeling of deep relaxation and well-being
