In the midst of the noise, speed and endless information of modern life, it can be easy to lose touch with the quiet art of listening that helps us to cultivate the capacity to receive guidance from within.
Yet guidance is a gift we can learn to become more receptive to receiving.
“Thou art still seeking it from outside…
There is an illimitable fountain … within thee.”
—Rumi
This half-day workshop offers a spacious invitation to turn inward and deepen our capacity to ask, to listen, and to receive inner guidance.
Drawing from contemplative practice and teachings, we will explore what it means to cultivate an inner life capable of receiving guidance with greater clarity, trust and discernment.
Through meditation, contemplative inquiry, reflection and shared presence, we will explore how guidance may arise, for example, through the heart, our life circumstances, our body, our inner knowing, moments of stillness, a conversation with a soul friend, and a quiet recognition of what feels true, life-giving and aligned.
As Hazrat Inayat Khan writes: “In the Spirit of Guidance one finds a living God active in the heart of every person.”
