Men's Half-Day Retreat at The Sanctuary
Step away from the demands of daily life and join us for a nourishing half-day retreat designed specifically for men seeking greater balance, clarity, and connection. Held in the peaceful surroundings of The Sanctuary, this experience offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and share meaningful time with other men in a supportive and welcoming environment.
The retreat begins with a gentle Qigong practice, an ancient system of mindful movement and breathwork that helps release tension, calm the nervous system, and cultivate vitality. Suitable for all levels of experience, Qigong provides a grounding foundation for the day ahead.
We will then take part in a mindful walking practice, allowing us to engage more deeply with the natural environment and develop a greater sense of presence. Moving at a relaxed pace, this practice invites reflection, awareness, and a renewed appreciation for the simple act of being.
Throughout the retreat, wisdom stories drawn from diverse traditions will offer inspiration and insight. These stories serve as mirrors for our own lives, encouraging deeper reflection on themes such as purpose, resilience, relationships, and personal growth.
A central part of the experience is the men's circle discussion. In a confidential and respectful space, participants are invited to share their insights, experiences and to listen deeply to each other. There is no pressure to speak, simply being present and listening can be equally powerful.
