Small group size for individual attention and customised practices.
We use props e.g. chair, yoga blocks, bolster and resistance bands to support our practice as we practice accessible physical yoga postures, weight-bearing and resistance exercises to:
• Promote muscle strength & maintain bone health
• Nourish and support joint health
• Improve balance and coordination
• Increase mobility and flexibility
• Enhance posture and body awareness
• Develop awareness of alignment mindfully
• Refine and nuance our individual practice
• Experience depth, ease and space while we hold, settle and breathe in a posture.
• Lengthen, strengthen & open.
We also practice :
• Breath Awareness & Pranayama – to calm the mind and also to improve vitality
• Meditation & Relaxation – to comfort the nervous system and reduce stress.
This is yoga as a lifelong companion as we continue to move, adapting creatively and intelligently to change.
