Join us for a nourishing morning of gentle movement, mindful connection and ceremonial cacao. This is your opportunity to slow down, step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself in a supportive and welcoming space.
We will begin by gathering together, taking a few moments to set a personal intention for the morning. From there, we will move into a gentle Hatha yoga practice designed to balance the body while calming the nervous system. Through mindful movement, and conscious breath, we will gently cultivate awareness, creating space to become fully present.
Following our yoga practice, we will move into our cacao ceremony. Together we will explore the history and cultural roots of cacao, learning why it has been used for centuries in Indigenous traditions as a sacred plant medicine for connection, reflection and community.
Yoga and ceremonial cacao complement one another beautifully. The grounding nature of yoga helps prepare both body and mind to receive the cacao with greater presence and awareness, while cacao's naturally uplifting qualities can deepen meditation, encourage openness and support a greater sense of connection throughout the practice.
After sharing the cacao together, you will be guided through a heart-centred meditation. There is no expectation to have a particular experience. This is simply an invitation to pause, to be present and to meet yourself with curiosity and compassion.
We will close the morning with quiet time for journaling, offering space to reflect on your experience before coming back together to close the session.
Whether you are completely new to yoga or cacao, or have an established practice, this space is open to anyone seeking a morning of rest, presence and meaningful connection. Come exactly as you are.
