Kirtan is a simple yet powerful practice of chanting sacred mantras together in community. Rooted in the Sanskrit word meaning to call, recite, or praise, Kirtan uses the repetition of ancient sounds to quiet the mind, open the heart, soothe the nervous system, and experience moments of clarity, joy, and aliveness.
Kirtan isn’t about perfect singing — it’s about freeing your voice and letting the sound guide you into presence and connection. Each mantra carries its own energy and ntention, inviting you to merge with its vibration. When our voices join together, the collective sound creates a powerful field of resonance that opens the heart, lifts the spirit, and fosters a deep sense of unity and belonging.
No experience needed — come as you are, with a little openness and curiosity. Wear comfortable clothing and bring layers in case you get warm or cold.
