This retreat is an invitation to reconnect with yourself through gentle meditative practices, and the stories associated with St. Brigid and the Celtic tradition. A time to honour renewal, growth, and new beginnings.
Spring is a time of new beginnings. After the dark, dormant months of winter, a season of stillness and rest, the light begins to gently return. We start to sense movement again and feel ready to see our seeds sprouting.
This time of renewal and reawakening is reflected in the natural world, with the first daffodils and bluebells beginning to emerge.
In the traditional Irish calendar, spring officially begins on the first of February, marked by the festival of Imbolc, also known as St Brigid’s Day. This is a time to celebrate the returning light and the quiet stirring of life.
On this day, we come together to honour light and life through meditative practices, gentle movement, storytelling, nature-based invitations, and art and craft.
