Join me for this 75-minute Yin Yoga class, a calming practice designed to reset your nervous system, release tension, and invite profound rest.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced practice that cultivates stillness, mindfulness, andintrospection. It supports flexibility, joint mobility, energy flow, and deep relaxation.
Unlike other forms of yoga that target the muscles, Yin Yoga focuses on the body’s connective tissues, such as fascia, bones, ligaments, tendons and joints.
Postures are held for longer periods, typically three to five minutes, allowing the bodyto gently open and release while encouraging stillness, introspection, and calm.
Most poses are practiced on the floor, and the use of props such as cushions and blocks is encouraged to help the body fully relax into each posture.
